Current Ministry Initiatives
- TWR currently airs Bible-based programs via FM stations in Cambodia to address issues faced by church leaders and members, women, children and youth, as well as oral communicators. TWR-Cambodia also distributes radios and Bibles to help Cambodian pastors, lay leaders and listeners grow spiritually, and encourage church growth.
- Listener groups are also being nurtured across the country, with each leader being supplied with a CD or cassette of the programs. From time to time, gatherings and training seminars are held for the leaders and listeners.
- TWR-Cambodia also works with non-governmental organizations and Christian organizations to reach people in need. Each department works with the relevant groups to provide practical help and spiritual help, addressing problems on a personal level. As part of this outreach, food is provided for impoverished children.
Critical Needs
- Happy Children’s Garden (HCG) is a program for Cambodian children from poor families. It is also used by Sunday school teachers.
- It’s Yours caters to Cambodian youth in the cities. Most of them are not living below the poverty line, have more access to education and speak basic English. They are vulnerable, though, to issues faced by youth around the world: drugs, peer pressure, and premarital sex.
- Learning Through Listening caters to illiterate learners in Cambodia or those who do not have the written Word of God, as well as those who prefer to learn through radio.
- Women of Hope (TWR’s Project Hannah broadcast) in Khmer addresses the situations of women in Cambodia. Many were widowed during the Pol Pot regime and still experience emotional trauma. Women are also seen as second class citizens with fewer rights than men.

- Healthcare awareness education program in partnership with the Dutch government, for children, youth and women.
- Community development project in partnership with RHAC (Reproductive Health Association of Cambodia) and CHE (Community Health Evangelism)
