Current Ministry Initiatives
Some of the initiatives TWR has in India to reach this land for Christ include programs using oral methods (storytelling and other means of communication among illiterates), broadcasts specifically for women, the organization of listener groups and outreach to youth.
Listener rallies are also organized at state and local levels to reach out to listeners, to pray for and encourage them, and also gather feedback. State-level rallies are held at TWR’s Leadership Training Centre in Chennai which local-level rallies are held in individual towns and villages. The former usually attracts 500 to 1,000 attendees, while the latter has about 50 to 200 participants.
