Introduction
Indonesia is the world’s fourth most populous country, with a population of more than 230 million. As an archipelago of about 17,000 islands, one of the main challenges that TWR faces in ministry in Indonesia is doing direct ministry and reaching the whole population.
Indonesia has 130 language groups with 10,000 speakers or more. Scattered across thousands of villages, these groups are isolated with few Christian witnesses, and churches are often too far away to reach them. As such, radio remains an effective means for preaching the gospel throughout Indonesia.
