Current Ministry Initiatives
Within the church, one of the biggest challenges faced is the age of pastors who reflect the aging trends in society at large. As a result, an issue facing many churches now is finding people who are trained in the Word to take on the mantle of leading the churches.
To help train believers in the Word, TWR broadcasts Thru the Bible (also known as From the Pastor’s Study in Japan) and Back to the Bible.
TWR is also looking to use the Internet and new media to develop a strategy to reach tech-savvy Japanese youth, especially in Tokyo.
