Current Ministry Initiatives
Due to restrictions on religious broadcasting, TWR-Asia uses shortwave broadcasts from transmitters on Guam to reach listeners in Vietnam. The ministry focus is primarily to preach the gospel to the Vietnamese, disciple new believers, and help church leaders learn the Bible in a systematic manner.
TWR-Vietnam works with churches and volunteer coordinators located across the country. These coordinators are mostly church leaders who see the benefit of TWR’s programs, and who are willing to participate in promoting the programs, form listener groups, or distribute radios and programs on CDs. TWR-Vietnam also partners other organizations to better reach the listeners, and specific audience groups.
TWR-Vietnam continues to faithfully share the gospel with the Vietnamese, to transform lives. From feedback received, we are aware that many listeners who came to know Christ have given up drinking, gambling, drugs, and domestic violence.

Reach Vietnamese children who do not have the opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ. - Door to Heaven
Present the gospel to unbelievers, answer their questions about Christianity and lead them to a lasting relationship with Jesus. - New Journey
Build up new believers who are just beginning their first steps with Christ. Teach them how to apply the Bible in their daily lives, overcome temptation, witness to others and be good stewards. - Women of Hope (Vietnamese)
Provide useful, practical teaching to women on subjects such as personal care and care for their families, while also telling them of God’s love for them. - Vietnamese Listener Group Care
Provide follow-up worker to reach the thousands of listener groups that have been formed as a result of TWR’s radio distribution efforts.
