Embracing His Love
December 26, 2012
CAMBODIA — “I kept listening to the Women of Hope program and eventually, I accepted Christ’s love into my life,” said Champey. “I have also gained a lot from the spiritual lessons in the program.”
Champey, who lives in Cambodia, did not embrace her newfound faith immediately when she first heard the gospel. Through her friend’s introduction, she got to know about TWR-Cambodia’s Women of Hope broadcast. It was only after listening to the program several times that she accepted Christ as her Savior.
Champey is thankful for Women of Hope. As a new Christian, she realizes she has a lot to learn in order to live a Christ-centered life. One of the precious lessons she learnt from the program is to trust God and surrender her problems to Him. It is a major transformation for her as she carries the burden of challenges from the past. She is applying what she has learnt as she faces family problems at home.
“Your program has taught me to lift my problems to him. My father is a drunkard and he has created problems for my mother and siblings at home. God will offer a way out for me,” Champey added. “I am not in the dark anymore. I have grown spiritually through the help of your program. Your program will bless so many other women. May our Lord bless your ministry.”
Many women’s lives have been transformed significantly through Women of Hope. We give thanks for God’s blessings on our listeners, and pray that the programs will continue to touch many more lives.
We ask for your prayerful support for our ministry in Cambodia, so that we can continue to reach out to more women with the gospel.
