Ministering to Mobile Internet Users
April 27, 2012
CHINA — TWR?s Chinese Internet Ministry receives numerous encouraging testimonies from the listeners of their programs regularly. A brother-in-Christ from China recently shared his testimony after listening to these programs on the Internet.
?I am a long-time listener. I listen to your program Seminary on the Air via the Internet every evening. I love your programs very much. I really thank God for letting me to discover such an excellent gospel broadcast station? Thank you for replying me via emails, and giving me plenty of valuable theological truth and knowledge.?
According to a survey done by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) in December 2011, the number of Internet search engine users in China has reached 396 million. This reinforces what we already know ? that the Internet is potentially the most efficient platform by which to reach the Chinese people with the gospel.
The 29th China Internet Development Statistics report (also released by CNNIC) also revealed that China has 513 million internet users. Out of this pool, 356 million are mobile netizens – making up to 69.3% of the total number of mobile Internet users in China.
To better meet the needs of these users, TWR programs can now be downloaded on these mobile devices such as iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Users of these devices can visit the App store to download ?ktwr.net online.? Mobile internet users will be pleased to know that TWR?s Chinese Internet Ministry has also launched a mobile version of the program Learning English as a Second Language.
TWR’s Chinese Internet Ministry needs your continual support, prayers and partnership in reaching out to the masses. We hope you can prayerfully consider supporting this ministry.
