South Africa — As you may have noticed in your own experience, letters that are short and sweet often communicate the most.

That’s the case with this simple but moving message from a listener in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal, which has a population of 11 million and is the home province of President Jacob Zuma. You can imagine how encouraged the program producers and the rest of the broadcast staff felt when they read the writer’s thoughtful words.

Dear TWR staff, I am so grateful for TWR. I started listening to your program a few years ago. I tuned to your station while browsing among different stations only to find that your program was exactly what I needed.

I was not in a good place at that time. It was dark in my heart. However, TWR blessed me and to this day it continues to lift me up. I enjoy the omnibus [program] on Saturdays. Your program is the last thing I listen to when I go to bed at night and the first when I wake up in the morning.

God bless you, and may he help you to grow from strength to strength. You are always in my prayers. Thank you.
