Outreach to Indonesia

Indonesia has 130 people groups, each with more than 10,000 speakers. In the past four years, the poverty level has risen to 48 percent. Scattered across thousands of villages, these groups are isolated, with few Christian witnesses and churches often too far away to reach. As visa restrictions increase, missionaries find themselves unwanted in a nation that so desperately needs to hear the gospel.

Endeavoring to minister to the people of Indonesia, TWR has created the following vital programs and projects such as but not limited to the following:


Indonesia Life Changing Media
TWR is committed to a five-part ministry plan called "Indonesia Life-changing Media" that involves expanding the area to which we minister within the country, using mass media (radio, audio cassette, CDs, VCDs and literature) as well as follow-up, using non-media ministry, such as cell groups, seminars, training, revival programs, wholistic ministry and other supporting activities and finally providing facilities and equipment to support TWR.


Indonesia Children Ministry
TWR-Indonesia recognizes this need and seeks to address it with a two-pronged approach through the use of VCDs and DVDs and cell groups ministry. Our media capabilities in Indonesia extend beyond radio, and our video productions have been well-received. Using this capacity, we will regularly produce Christian VCD/DVDs that appeal to children, to engage and instruct them in their faith. We seek to form facilitated cell groups that will meet once a month to view the children's program, as well as provide opportunities for discussion, learning and Christian fellowship.
