SINGAPORE – Some of our ministry staff had a blessed time of fellowship recently with 26 domestic helpers at Kay Poh Road Baptist Church.

Our team welcomed the wonderful opportunity to introduce TWR’s women’s ministry, Project Hannah, to women at Kay Poh Road Baptist Church. The church made arrangements for this session, and for our staff to meet up with the domestic helpers.

During the half-day session, our team introduced Project Hannah, TWR’s programs and the use of the Megavoice, a portable audio player. Each domestic helper received a copy of the Project Hannah magazine as well as a Megavoice player containing 36 pre-recorded messages by In Touch Ministries.

These domestic helpers need lots of encouragement and support as many of them have left their family members and even children in their country to work in a foreign land. They face challenges such as working in a totally different culture and long working hours.

TWR’s programs are able to offer them encouraging messages to uplift them when they are discouraged, no matter where they are.

Brenda Tan, Ministry Administrator for TWR-Asia’s South East Asia ministry said, “The response was spontaneous. The domestic helpers were happy to get to know more about TWR and the latest radio programs available. During the session, they were curious to find out more and asked questions such as whether the programs were broadcast in their native language.”

We give thanks and praise to God for the open door to reach out to these women with our programs. Please pray that the women we met will be encouraged by the programs, and that their lives will be transformed.

If you would like to invite our team to help minister to foreign domestic workers in your congregation as well, please get in touch with us!
