Gender discrimination, sexual slavery and poverty are tragedies that affect women around the world. However, in Asia, the situation is made worse due to traditions and cultures that have been passed down through the generations, denying women of their rights and their voice, and repressing them in society. TWR-Asia’s programmes have touched many Asian women with the gospel’s message of hope, given them back their sense of dignity and self-worth, and also given them practical skills and tips as they carry out their noble duties as wives, mothers, and daughters.
