Our Response

Currently, TWR broadcasts Thru the Bible (also known as From the Pastor’s Study in Japanese) and Back to the Bible, in partnership with BJapan. These programs started in 2005, and are aired five and three times a day respectively, five days a week, via satellite radio.

TWR has received encouraging and valuable feedback from listeners, some of whom are non-believers, and others have shown a keen interest to learn more about Christianity. As such, we hope to be able to continue with this broadcast and pray that God will use this as a tool to draw more non-believers to him.

TWR shortwave radio programming began in Japan in 1999, but was discontinued in 2007. This is because shortwave was no longer considered an effective medium in a high-tech society such as Japan.
