Women's

TWR-Asia Women Ministry is focusing on large-multi-audience and providing for substantial needs. In line with TWR-GSP which it is “Reach out to 100 millions women with Gospel’s message of respect for all human life, dignity and self-worth.” We specifically entrusted with developing content and building partnerships for women track. We thank God for His blessings through Project Hannah.

May 1998 - after month of focused prayer, production of English Women of Hope program began on Guam; 1st airing Oct 1998.
1999 - Korean, Indonesia, Khmer, Thai, Burmese.
2000 - Vietnamese, Mandarin.
2001 - Javanese, Tagalog.
2002 - Madurese, Sgaw Karen.
2003 - Australia WOH
2005 - Cebuano, Ilocano
2006 - Tamil, Oriya, Hindi
2008 - Nepalese

The demands of women in Asia are overwhelming. Natural disaster, wars and violent conflicts bring death, poverty, disease and humiliation into the lives of millions women. Many women must find ways to survive the horrible abuses of torture and rape.

Due to Asian cultural and religious traditions and values, women have often been accorded lower social status and self-worth, than prescribed in the eyes of God. Ignorance and prevailing misconceptions cause many Asian women have low values on their sexuality and self-worth, and thereby resulting in their exploitations through dysfunctional family and social relationships.

Violence against women is a major issue in countries where women lack decision-making power within the home and have a low social and economic status within the community. Domestic violence, unemployment and selling girls for sex are forced on many women who have no control of their lives.

We want:

• To raise awareness of and empathy for the plight of women in Asia.
• To pray for women who are being enslaved emotionally, physically, or spiritually.
• To broadcast the Gospel of Jesus Christ to women in Asia through our radio, SW, MW, FM, Internet etc in different languages.
• To encourage women in Asia experience God’s love, freedom, and power as they face life’s daily challenges.
• To embrace their God-given destinies and glorious inheritances in Christ Jesus through Biblical Counseling.

In today’s society, no matter how educated or professional woman is, if a child is ill, the woman is the one who must find time to take care of the child. Life can be full of challenges in relationship, marriage, motherhood, career, ministry. There is nothing more inspiring than seeing a woman receiving revelation of her special place in the heart of the Father God & releasing into her godly place in the church.

Prayer and Perseverance are the keys to success in our women ministry.

God works His will by His word. Let’s continue to work together, heart to heart, hand in hand. When change occurs, it is because of the Lord’s work & the glory belongs to Him!!
